I love this piece! It's so dark it almost looks black. And the copper inclusions, gorgeous. I had a lot of fun cutting this stone.

Kauai beach glass

In a remote location on Kauai, where the old land fill has been washed away by the ocean, the glass of old jars, bottles and who knows what else has been tumbling for years upon years and become smooth. I am picky when selecting the glass, if its not smooth enough I toss it back in so it can get tumbled more. This is one of my favorite places on the island.
